Check for the Hi8 marking
Hi8 is a small camcorder tape. Look for the Hi8 marking on the casing and compare it with the image. Size alone does not tell you the recording format.
If the format is unclear
If the casing says Video8 or Digital8, confirm suitability before sending it. Processing those formats is not promised as part of this Hi8 service.
What is included in digitisation?
Each tape becomes a separate MP4 video. Watch it in your browser and download the file at no extra charge. Digitisation itself does not add new detail to the picture. Picture and audio restoration are separate options.
