Identify a compact MiniDV tape
MiniDV is the smallest of these tape formats. Look for the MiniDV marking on the tape or case. Label each tape to distinguish recordings from different years, for example.
From MiniDV tape to MP4 video
The service delivers an MP4 video to watch and download. You can keep it on your own device. MP4 delivery does not mean an archival copy of the original DV recording.
What is included in digitisation?
Each tape becomes a separate MP4 video. Watch it in your browser and download the file at no extra charge. Digitisation itself does not add new detail to the picture. Picture and audio restoration are separate options.
