Full-size VHS or compact VHS-C?
VHS is a full-size video tape. VHS-C is a smaller camcorder tape. Check the marking on the casing: both are included in this service at the same digitisation price.
Different tape sizes in one parcel
Count your VHS and VHS-C tapes together. Give each tape or case a clear name so you can identify the videos later.
What is included in digitisation?
Each tape becomes a separate MP4 video. Watch it in your browser and download the file at no extra charge. Digitisation itself does not add new detail to the picture. Picture and audio restoration are separate options.
Picture restorationPrice for one tape
€23.80
Digitisation €14.90 + sending to us €8.90. Total €23.80, including VAT.
Sending to us is included from 5 tapes. You can combine different tape formats in one order.
PricesHow do I send the tapes?
First choose the number of tapes and any extras. After paying, you receive sending instructions by email. Follow the order instructions: the company’s registered address is not the tape receiving address.

The casing protects the tape
The VHS plastic casing holds the reels and magnetic tape. The picture and sound recording is on the tape.
Two reels and one tape
The tape moves from one reel to the other during playback. Its length varies between cassettes.
The recording is read through playback
Digitisation records the tape’s picture and sound as a video. The tape’s condition affects what can be recovered.
Download the video to your own device
You do not need the original tape or a VCR to watch the MP4 file. Keep your own copy of the file too.
